A marriage of Louisiana architecture and modern design, Stay Heirloom’s award-winning home on the edge of the French Quarter is ideal for groups. No detail or amenity was spared in the meticulous renovation of this 19th-century beauty. Here, we have blended comfort with style, showcasing items that we’ve collected over the past decade locally and from around the world. The decor blends mid-century modern with a good bit of antiques, as well as kitsch and various oddities.

We are less than 5 minutes from the edge of the French Quarter, by foot; and approximately 15 mins walking to Jackson Square. We think of ourselves as offering an oasis of sorts!
The lower Tremé is a vibrant area steeped in music and culture. There are blocks of interesting Creole homes once home to Jazz legends like Jelly Roll Morton and Sidney Bechet. The oldest African-American neighborhood in the country, its residents helped shape civil rights achievements. It remains one of the most joyful, lively, and vivid neighborhoods in New Orleans, with an incredible underground live jazz scene, the Mardi Gras Indians, Brass Bands, and Second Line parades.
In our immediate environs and within close walking distance are some of the best bars and restaurants in New Orleans. From old school dive bars to cool new cocktails, BBQ to Boudin, tasty slices of both pizza and pie, it’s all available nearby.
The best way to get around is by foot, bike, taxi, or Uber. Depending on your stride, the French Quarter is ~5 minutes and the Marigny 6-12 minutes by foot. In case Bourbon Street is one of your destinations, it will take about 10 minutes to walk there. Jackson Square is about 15 minutes walking.
