Inspired by rustic lodge living, every sun-drenched room in this spacious three story condo is designed to provide the perfect blend of style, comfort, and function for up to 7 guests. Each of the home’s three bedrooms boasts an en-suite bathroom, top-of-the-line linens, and piles of plush pillows. Every bathroom is fully stocked with oversized cotton bath towels and toiletries (shower gel/shampoo/conditioner) for your comfort and ease. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor of the home: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, and bedroom 2 holds two twin beds. There is one bedroom on the upper floor, the Master Suite, which features a king bed. In addition to the permanent beds, a high-end air mattress is also available to create a sleeping configuration that best suits your needs. The home’s open-concept living area boasts luxurious spaces for groups to gather and relax while taking in world-class mountain views. On the entry level, laze in the large, comfy seating area by a crackling wood-burning fire, freshly stocked with split dry wood. Unwind with a movie on the large flat screen TV with DVD/Blue Ray player, or hook up your device to the iPod dock. Enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas over a delicious evening meal at the six seat dining table, and whip up a feast in the spacious high-end kitchen, complete with breakfast bar. After an exhilarating day on the slopes, contemplate the pine from the sumptuous six-seating indoor hot tub with panoramic views, or take in the mountain air on the private deck. Other features include coat and boot storage in the entryway, complete with a top-of-the-line boot dryer; high speed internet/wifi; laundry (washer/dryer/iron); and parking for one car in the attached garage.

Other things to note
Check-in is anytime after 4:00pm and check-out is no later than 10:00am. We have to firmly keep to these times as our housekeepers require ample time to prepare for your arrival. Payment is due in full at time of booking (no deposits or holds). Airbnb retains a separate security deposit in escrow which is fully refundable. In summer and spring, snowmelt reveals a whole new season of outdoor activities for every skill level and interest. Discover the growing network of trails allowing bikers, hikers, and climbers access to unparalleled views of the ridge, or hunt for owls and other feathered friends, guided by experts. Take advantage of the varied summer calendar, crammed with events including concert series, festivals, writing workshops, and children’s activity days.
From December to early March, guests can enjoy ski in/ski out access to Snowbird on intermediate to advanced skier-made trails, and a complimentary shuttle service to and from Alta. The public UTA bus runs a free loop from Snowbird up to the Alta Bypass road and back every 30 minutes while the resort is open.
The property includes access to one garage parking spot, but it is important to us that guests make an informed decision regarding transportation to and from the lodge. Mid-December through April, Snowbird receives an average of almost two feet of snow per week. Even moderate snowfalls may cause restrictions on the Little Cottonwood Canyon access road, permitting only 4-wheel drives or vehicles equipped with chains. Blackjack Ridge is truly a getaway. While access to the mountain is steps away from the front door, the same cannot be said about groceries and other supplies. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive with any food, beverages, and general supplies they wish to enjoy during their stay. Grocery delivery and concierge services are available through a local firm at additional cost.
Please note that this property has a $500 damage deposit that will be assessed to the credit or debit card you use at checkout in the case of damage. You will not be charged for damages unless damage or vandalism done by you or your group is discovered. Our properties are checked thoroughly before and after every reservation for damage. If damage is discovered, we will provide you with an itemized list of the damages and will assess the cost required to cover damages by charging the credit or debit card you use at checkout. If there is no damage, we will erase your credit card information from our system. This is thankfully very rare, but we want to make sure we’re clear with every guest on our policy!
