The neighborhood

Clint’s home is located in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.

The Marigny is a safe, friendly, and laid-back area, rated as one of the top 10 hippest neighborhoods in the country by The New Yorker. You will be in the middle of the Marigny/Bywater buzz, and about a 10-15 minute stroll (a very nice one) to the heart of the downtown French quarter. But you don’t need to go far to discover why this neighborhood is a hidden gem — some of the best bars, restaurants, and art galleries in NOLA are within close walking distance.

We are located right on the border of the transition point of Marigny to Bywater, a block from the intersection of Franklin and Burgundy.

Getting around

The best way to get around is by foot, bike, or Uber. Depending on your stride, the French Quarter is 10-15 minutes or a short Uber away. But many, especially locals, prefer to spend time on Frenchman St. (5 mins away walking) or in local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes in the Marigny and Bywater.

Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe and common at all hours of the day and night. Use your common sense when coming and going late at night and take a taxi or Uber/Lyft if you are ever in doubt.

Other things to note

If you have questions you need answered before securing your booking, or you simply want to talk with us first, please send our team an inquiry instead of a reservation request.

**The fifth bedroom is a walk-through bedroom** If you have any questions about this, please ask!

If this property is close but not quite the one, please reach out to us at Stayloom directly. We own and manage high end rental homes in the area and we’d be happy to find you and your group the perfect fit!

Francis' place played a big part in making a long anticipated trip special. There had clearly been a ton of thought put into the place, checking in was simple and the place was set up to be intuitive. Aside from being a beautiful space, the location

Very cute apartment in an unbeatable location. We were visiting on business and getting into the city was a breeze. The neighborhood is cute and fairly quiet at night. The house itself was spacious and clean and we all slept very comfortably. Frank

The house is beautiful, very thoughfully and tastefully decorated and was the perfect space for our large group of two families. The outdoor area was a plus and the surrounding neighborhood is nice! Convenient for accessing the French Quarter.

My girlfriends and I came to New Orleans for a bachelorette trip. The place itself is really beautiful, funky antiques, brand new construction, and modern amenities (AC/new kitchen/bathrooms) made this place really charming/unique. I feel like so
